Zafira walked across the lake, Loki froze it for her. It lay in the center of Blogland. A forcefield went across the entire premises of Blogland, nobody could leave. Zafira laughed. The fools would pay.

"Ladies and gentleman, creatures and gods. The time has come for the Blogland Hunger Games. Ideally 24 of you would fight to the death, but I think that's boring. A select number will fight to the death in an arena. This is revenge on all of humanity. Broadcast over the Sanctuary Global Link!"

Okay - Words

Firstly I would like to thank you all for the positive response!
Secondly, could someone please email Zath, I would like to ask his permission to do this before actually doing so as he has done something similar in the past.
So if anyone would like to help me, please email or leave a comment in capital/bold saying I WANNA HELP
[Warning, depending to what degree you help you may not be allowed to participate, or if you do you may not be allowed to win. Apologies. I myself am working on a way around this.]
Other thing's to say..
If we do this the actual fighting will probably be during Christmas break.
The reapings and still will be sorted later.
Also, if you email Zath PLEASE COMMENT SAYING YOU HAVE DONE SO, we don't want him being bombarded with email's asking if its okay.

Blogland Hunger Games - Explaination

Okay so I trust everyone has at least HEARD of the Hunger Games, if not then how have you avoided it??

Anyway, the basic idea of the Hunger Games is that twenty four names are chosen, twelve boys, twelve girls, a girl and a boy from each 'district'. They are then taken from the districts and sent to the capital, there they are made to look pretty and introduced to the capitals public looking hell-a hot, or sweet, or whatever angle the make up people thought would get the most sponsors. They are then trained for a couple of weeks (I can't remember the exact amount) before being sent away to an arena with a tracker in their arm. The when they arrive they stand on their plate for sixty second (if they step off early they explode.) and mentally prepare themselves. There's a giant golden horn thing in the center (Cornucopia)  full of supplies. Some are weapons, some is food, blankets, medicines and what not. The arena itself is basically a death trap, it's different every time, it could be a desert, a forest, a jungle, an ocean, etc. Most of the stuff there is genetically modified to kill or harm you. On top of that you have the game makers, they control the grounds. They can make night come quicker, animals pop up out of no where, fire balls shoot at you, basically they're deadly as hell. You fight to the death. Only one is allowed to remain. Alliances can form but in the end you turn on your allies. It's all rather violent and in some cases emotional. It strips people away from their humanity in many cases.

So naturally I thought it'd be great to combine with blogland.

Now the blogland games would be different, for example you wouldn't have your magic, only you natural physical attributes. Cheating while in the arena would get you killed, but more details on that later. I'm not sure how you would do the districts, that will be decided later probably. Using some small sense of logic. Oh and something I missed, if you aren't picked but you are in that district and the same sex as the chosen person you can shout 'I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!' and if you're first you take the persons place in the games. All very simple. Anyway this is mainly just for you people to comment your opinions, if it sounds like a good idea or a bad idea, if you thing we should do it etc. Oh and if you want to be a game maker. It will all be non-cannon rp so if you die it doesn't matter for the cannon rp. So yeah, if it gets a positive response I'll go ahead with it.
